700+ year old Sitka Spruce box with Eastern red Cedar Paddle  (Not My Call) I have heard these while in Washington State on Mission Trip! Awesome, one of a kind sound.

Mine is a Cedar over Sitka Spruce made by Dan Wittenberg. It is a top shelf call.

Dan Wittenberg is the man in the Northwest! His calls are legend up there. They are something special. Seems like everyone up there has his long box.  Dan from Spokane!

Any of you call makers wanna try Sitka Spruce I know a guy in Alaska who has Sitka from a tree that was well over 500 years old that a storm felled. He is reasonable. The only catch is he doesn't have a planner so it will be a rough billet, straight tight grain or quarterswan and also has Alaskan Yellow cedar.
